RECOMMENDED LAUNCH ETIQUETTE

Published on 4/1/2014
A committee of members assigned to finding solutions to the congestion that sometimes develops at the dock has recommended five steps to help control traffic and reduce wait time.  The committee's recommendations are:

HAVE BOAT TOTALLY READY WHEN IT LEAVES THE COMPOUND.  Lifting straps and dock lines should be in place.

USE THE LAUNCH AREA ONLY TO LAUNCH AND LIFT-OUT.  Move the boat away from the cranes immediately after use.

FOR LIFT-OUT, KEEP CLEAR OF THE CRANES UNTIL READY TO LIFT

HELP OTHER BOATS

SHARE THE MULE

Members of the committee on launching problems are: Andy Kaiser, John Nelson, and Dave Samyn.
